The consent box on our quote form
Every quote form shows an optional, unchecked box next to this text (version 2026-09-28.v3):
By checking this box, I give my electronic signature and agree that the licensed auto transport broker HaulFare refers my quote request to and HaulFare (HaulFare) may contact me at the mobile number I entered with marketing and informational calls, text messages and prerecorded voicemails about auto transport services, including my quote request, using an automated system for the selection or dialing of telephone numbers or an artificial or prerecorded voice. The motor carrier assigned to my shipment may also call or text me to coordinate pickup and delivery. Consent is not a condition of purchase: I can leave this box unchecked and still get a quote by phone. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or revoke consent by any reasonable means, including by emailing quotes@haulfare.com.
Checking the box is your electronic signature under the E-SIGN Act and your prior express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. It covers our licensed transport partner, the licensed auto transport broker we refer your request to, HaulFare (HaulFare), and, only to coordinate pickup and delivery, the motor carrier assigned to your shipment. We do not pass your request or your consent to any other broker or lead buyer.
You do not have to check it. If you leave it unchecked you still get your estimate, and the transport partner can still quote you: it calls you personally, by hand-dialed call only, with no automated calls or texts. You can also ask for a quote by phone.
What we record
- Whether you checked the box, the exact text shown, its version and a cryptographic hash of it.
- Date and time (UTC), IP address, browser user agent, page URL and form version.
- The phone number and email you entered.
- Where enabled, an independent TrustedForm certificate of the form session.
Consent and opt-out records are kept as long as the law requires, at least five years.
How to opt out
Any reasonable method works, for example:
- Reply STOP (or words like quit, end, revoke, opt out, cancel, unsubscribe, or "stop texting me") to any text.
- Tell the person who calls you, from the transport partner or HaulFare.
- Email quotes@haulfare.com.
- Use the web form at haulfare.com/opt-out.
We process opt-outs within 10 business days as the FCC requires, and immediately where our systems allow, and we pass every opt-out to the transport partner. After you opt out we may send one text confirming it, and questions you start about an active request are still answered. Reply HELP for help.
When we call and how often
Calls about your request, from the transport partner or from us, are made between 8am and 8pm in your local time and no more than 3 times in 24 hours about the same request. Follow-up is usually 1–3 calls and 1–3 texts in the week after your request, plus shipment updates if you book. If anyone calls outside these limits, tell us and we will take it up with the partner. Message and data rates may apply.
